Condition Focus
Back pain that won't quit — until now.
Whether it's a dull ache from desk work, sharp tension from an old injury, or tightness that never fully goes away, clinical massage therapy can get to the root of it.
Sound familiar?
- Waking up stiff every morning, no matter how you slept
- Sitting at a desk all day and feeling it in your lower back by noon
- Tension that travels from your shoulders down your spine
- Reaching for ibuprofen more than you'd like to admit
- Pain that flares up with certain movements and limits what you can do
What changes after treatment
- Reduced muscle tension and improved range of motion
- Less reliance on over-the-counter pain relief
- Better posture as the muscles holding you out of alignment release
- Deeper, more restorative sleep without waking in pain
- A clearer picture of what's driving your pain — and how to address it
How I approach back pain
Back pain is rarely just one thing. I start by listening — where is it, when does it flare, what makes it better or worse. From there I draw on deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release to address the specific muscles and connective tissue involved. Sessions are adapted as your body responds, so the work evolves with you.
Deep Tissue
Targets the deeper layers of muscle and fascia to release chronic tension patterns.
Trigger Point Therapy
Addresses specific knots and referral patterns that contribute to radiating back pain.
Myofascial Release
Releases restrictions in the connective tissue that can pull the spine and pelvis out of alignment.
IASTM
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization to break up adhesions and improve tissue quality.
